ABOUT ME

My name is Amanda Henn and I moved to South Lake Tahoe in 2016 after being honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps.
I successfully pursued a Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis with a desire to enhance the life of individuals with disabilities and their families. My dream was simple-to help people in our community. After completion of my degree, I realized that "help" did not need to be in the form of one-on-one therapy. Helping individuals can also be offered through beauty and the act of encouraging and aiding individuals in the act of self-care.
Self-care and self-love is critical to each person; however, it is often neglected or low priority. Numerous studies have shown that engaging in self-care can lead to a decrease in stress, an increase in physical, mental, and emotional health, and can even increased longevity.
My dream now is to empower Lake Tahoe Basin and our community through the important act of self-care. I would be honored to help you to become the best version of yourself, inside and out!
XOXO-
Amanda
